  • Paolo Bolio - I started studying classical piano at 11. Graduated in classical piano at the Alessandria conservatory at 25. Meanwhile, I started studying jazz piano at 21 and got to play my first pro-tour at 23 with Loredana Bertè, a major Italian singer. I graduated at CPM (the most famous non-classical Italian music school) in jazz piano at 24 with Franco d’Andrea. I then worked, as keyboard player and sound designer, with Franco Mussida (founder and guitar player from 70’ prog-rock band PFM), on his two solo projects. In 1997 I started my collaboration with the band Gotthard with which I played as European opening act for bands like Deep Purple, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, until this very year. I’ve co-composed and co-produced songs for the soundtrack of two Italian films: “Donne in Bianco” (1998) and “L’uomo della fortuna” (2000). Since 2000, I’ve composed and produced background music and effects for RAI, the Italian state TV
